- in-training students (PhD student or a PostDoc not more than 5 years after PhD, as proved by a certification letter signed by the tutor)

ISCaM TRAVEL AWARDS. Travel Grants for students (PhD student or PostDoc not more than 5 years after PhD, as proved by a certification letter signed by the tutor) are sometime available to fully cover the costs for registration to the meeting (including accommodation and transfer). To be eligible, candidates have to be ISCaM member, and submit an abstracts to the annual meeting.
Fr this type of award there are not currently open call.

EXCHANGE TRAVEL GRANTS >>>>>>NEW!!!!<<<<<<
The major purpose of ISCaM research society is the creation and promotion of networking benefits between its members. “ISCaM Exchange Travel Grant” will be awarded once a year and gives financial support for the applicant to visit a participating member group to work or study at this institution.
The conditions for the “ISCaM Exchange Travel Grant” are:
- Applicant is a member
- The supervisor of the Hosting research group is a member
- The supervisor of home lab must be ISCaM member
- Applicant is in-training students (PhD student or a PostDoc not more than 5 years after PhD, as proved by a certification letter signed by the tutor)
- Duration of exchange: minimum 1 month
- Collaboration should ideally promote a joint publication between applicant & host and acknowledment to ISCaM.
The funding is max. € 1000 per applicant and will cover travel and accommodation costs or other costs that do not include costs for consumables or research costs. The same travel can be co-funded with other grants. To apply for the ISCaM Exchange Travel Grant is required to submit a filled-in application form that include applicant CV, applicant motivation letter, applicant’s budget, and project proposal.
Half of the amount will be assigned before the exchange period, and the remaining half will be assigned after the visit, and after a brief report will be sent to the ISCaM central administration (maximum one month the after the end of the travel period).
Applications are three per year.
Grant submission deadline is once per year: 30th of November
Results will be notified maximum 1 month later.
The applicant must perform the travel period within the calendar year after the attribution of the award.
